As a famous poet in contemporary South Korea, Lee Lusa very admires and speaks high of the poems of Xu Zhimo who is the representative of modem new poetic creation. In poetic style, he imitates Xu Zhimo by pursuing beautiful words and perfect form; while in content, he overcomes Xu Zhimo＇ s limitation. By comparing poems of Lee Lusa and Xu Zhimo, the author discusses the effect of Chinese culture on poets of South Korea.
