钱学森是中国当代著名的战略家、科学家、思想家、系统工程师。他在应用力学、喷气推进与航天技术、工程控制论、物理力学、系统工程、系统科学、思维科学和人体科学等领域做出了开创性的和不可磨灭的贡献。他在领导中国"两弹一星"研制的科学实践中,在运用现代科学技术体系进行社会主义现代化建设的探索中,都作出了不朽的功勋。钱学森著作丰富多彩,涉及领域广泛,高瞻远瞩,思想深刻。对钱学森的著作进行整理,是进一步研究研究钱学森战略思想前提和基础,是非常有必要和很有意义的一件事。

Qian Xuesen （1911 -2009） is a renowned strategist, scientist, thinker and system engineer in contemporary China. He made groundbreaking and indelible contribution in domains of applied mechanics, jet propulsion and space technology, engineering cybernetics, physical mechanics, systems engineering, systems science, thought science and human science and so on. Besides, in developing the A - bomb, H - bomb and artificial satel- lite of China and using modern science technology system to guide the construction of socialist modernization, he also made immortal deeds. Qian Xuesen＇ s work is richly colorful, involving widespread domains with long - range sight and profound thought. To reorganize Qian Xuesen＇ s works is basic for further study of his strategic concept.
