在对一个历史人物进行深入的研究时,笔记类图书中的人物传记是研究者需要考虑运用的史料之一。相比正史、地方志、文集、诗话、词话等资料,笔记的运用有其独特之处,其优点在于存在大量第一手材料,其内容接近真实人物,其缺点则在于资料分布零散,具有片面性,资料的记录不够严谨,存在真实性问题。

When doing a research on a historical figure,we tend to take the biographical information as one of the sources. Compared to other materials,the personal notes are different which are fat with a lot of first-hand information. While,on the other hand,these materials are segmental and single-faceted and some of them are lack of truth due to careless recording way.
