摘要
描述一种基于菊花链结构的电池管理芯片的级联通讯模块。该通讯模块可以支持多级芯片的主从串联通讯和芯片与芯片之间的单独通讯。整个电池管理的通信由一个主控制器(MCU)和多个管理芯片构成,最低一级的电池管理芯片与主控制器相连,芯片与芯片之间采用独立于SPI总线的菊花链结构进行独立的通信。利用华虹0.35μm工艺仿真,并运用cadence软件建立2个芯片模块,模拟芯片与芯片之间的传输,Spectre仿真结果显示本文设计的菊花链结构可以允许链上的芯片与相邻芯片进行数据的准确接收和传输。
A kind of cascade communication of battery management system(BMS) based on the daisy-chain instruction is described.The communication system can support master-slave serial communication of multi-chip and separate communication between chip and chip.The cascade communication system of battery management chip is composed of a master-controller(MCU) and multi-slave battery management chip,and only the lowest level of battery management chip connected to MCU.Communication between chip and chip depends on the daisy-chain instruction which can allow the chip in the chain with adjacent chip for data reception and transmission.Based on the TSMC 0.35 um,and using Cadence to generate two modules to prove that the daisy-chain instruction designed can make success of the communication between chips.
