In this paper we discussed the deficiencies and the remedies of astrometric and geodetic VLBI observations used for the determination of celestial and terrestrial reference frames, which involves the definition of the origin, the orientation and the time evolution of frames. From real data reduction the efficiency of the remedy was demonstrated.
