As an important part of teaching mangement in HEIs,academic examination not only promotes learning,but also supervises the completion of teaching task and the quality of higher education.Throughout the world,academic examination is still the main means to check college students studies.As the most developed country in higher education,America is also at the forefront of the world in academic examination system.By literature review,we find that academic examination in America has its own features and plays an important role in ensuring the quality of undergraduate education.
