摘要
《太阳照常升起》是美国著名作家海明威的成名作。长期以来,国内外学术界围绕小说女主人公勃莱特.阿施利这一文学形象展开了激烈争辩,观点迥异。本文主要从弗洛伊德精神分析批评学的角度出发,对阿施利时而抑郁、时而躁狂的怪异行为进行剖析,揭示其抑郁躁狂的根源,进而挖掘海明威在该小说中所隐含的写作意旨。
The Sun Also Rises established Hemingway＇s fame in literature.Its literary figure Brett Ashley has long been discussed heatedly in the academia at home and abroad.There is a considerable diversity of views held by scholars.This paper employs Freudian methods of psychoanalysis to examine Ashley＇s occasional depression and mania,reveals the root of her weird behavior and further uncovers author＇s implicit writing purpose of this novel.
