The design of CA3-13 coupler of DF8BI diesel locomotive experted to Iran,and the coupler\'s functions required by customer are described in brief.Taking the safety and interchange ability into account,the mature coupler design is used.The main technical parameters,acceptance criteria,application prospect and existing deficiencies are represented.
