发展中美关系,一直被邓小平视为中国外交的首要问题。邓小平发展中美关系战略思想,是邓小平外交战略思想的重要组成部分之一,是在继承毛泽东发展中美关系战略思想、依据国际形势的新变化、中国国情的具体特点以及邓小平的亲身实践的基础上而逐步形成的,确立了发展中美关系的精髓——着眼大局、最高准则——国家利益、基本立足点——独立自主、策略方针——互动互信、核心问题——台湾问题等重要战略思想,形成了"顺应潮流,着眼大局"、"加强交往,增进互信"、"相互尊重,互利共赢"等重要启示。本文主要探索邓小平发展中美关系战略思想的发展历程、主要内容和重要启示,对于新时期新阶段进一步妥善处理和发展稳定的中美关系,具有重要的指导意义和实践意义。

The development of Sino-US relations, in Deng Xiaoping＇s view, was the primary issue among China＇s foreign affairs. Deng Xiaoping＇s strategy for developing Sino US relations is an important part of Deng Xiaoping＇s strategy for foreign affairs. It was gradually formed on the basis of new changes in international situation, characteristics of China＇s actual conditions and Deng Xiaoping＇s experiences, adopting Mao Zedong＇s strategy for developing Sino US relations. Such a strategy confirms the essence of developing Sino-US relations, has the overall situation in mind, the highest norm-- national interests, the basic foothold--maintaining independence and keeping the initiative in our own hands, the policy keeping interactive and establishing mutual trust, and the core issue Taiwan Question. And we can gain revelations from the strategy, including ＂going with the tide of historical development, and having the overall situation in mind＂, ＂strengthening interaction to enhance mutual trust＂, ＂respecting each other for mutual benefit and win win＂. In this paper, the development process and main contents of and important revelations from Deng Xiaoping＇s strategy for Sino-US relations are explored. It is of great instructive and practical significance for further duly handling and developing Sino-US relations in the new stage of a new period.
