Harold Laski and Modern China:Research Overview and Future Prospects

摘要本文在检视英美学界既往之拉斯基研究及中国学界关于拉斯基及其对中国之影响的相关研究的基础上,阐明了未来进一步深化研究的两大方向:一则,须更为细致地研究拉斯基思想内涵及其发展演变,并进而深入探讨民国时期的中国知识分子对其各阶段的思想是否有所选择、去取;再则,还须对19世纪晚期以来的英国社会主义运动的发展与演变、其内部的思想流派异同、拉斯基与其他社会主义重要人物之间的关系有所研究和了解。如此,我们方能较为准确地评估拉斯基对于现代中国政治思想界的具体影响。 After scrutinizing the researches on Harold Laski in British and American academia and the related Chinese studies,this paper expounds on two directions to further the research on Laski's intellectual influence on modern China.Firstly,Laski's ideological connotation and evolution must be studied more thoroughly and then whether Chinese intellectuals have made selections about his ideas in different phases should be further explored,so as to prevent making superficial or overstating judgments on Laski's influence.Secondly,developments and changes of the British socialist movement associated with Laski since the late 19th century and the relationships between different groups,trends,and figures within shall be investigated in depth to clarify the relative position of Laski in the ideological spectrum.Such clarification can also help precisely measure the impact of Laski on modern Chinese intellectuals.
