"Worldliness"as a Concept for Literary Relationship Studies

"中国文学中的世界性因素"是陈思和继"新文学整体观"后针对中外文学关系研究提出的一个核心概念。它是其在中外文学交流背景下的作家个案、文学思潮和文学史叙述等多层面的学术实践中提出和渐次展开,已经在中国现当代文学和比较文学与世界文学领域逐步体现出某种范式性意义,对全球化时代如何在世界文学背景下进行中外文学的有效对话,以及重新考察文学的民族性与世界性关系提供了建设性启示。

＂Worldliness in Chinese literature＂ is a key concept proposed by Chen Sihe concerning the studies of relationship between Chinese and western literature after he put forward ＂integrality of new literature＂. Raised and developed in academic practice of writ- ers study, literary movements study and literary historical narration, the concept has been established as a paradigm in Chinese contemporary literature and comparative literature and world literature, and has been of constructive significance for effective dialogue between Chinese and western literature in world literature of a globalized age, and the reconsidera- tion of locality and worldliness of literature.
