Through the analysis of the subject librarian training model in the university of Auckland library,the paper analyzes the university of Auckland library on the requirements of subject librarians＇ capability and the role definition,as well as their unique subject librarian training institutions,training content and training method.Their successful experience provides a great deal of the enlightenment about the establishment of the subject librarian training model in the domestic university library.
