The author summarized the current situation and tendency of exploiting and using the root of kudzu vine,introduced the progress in the research of the chemical elements contained in Pueraria Lobota and the method to determin their contents.Finally,The author analyzed the market prospect and the utilization of the root of kudzu vine in such industires as medicine and food.
