美国作家简.斯迈利的小说《一千英亩》中有4个男性关键人物。他们中既有单一气质的代表,又有双性同体的典型,不同的气质组合导致了他们不同的命运和结局。根据双性同体理论,只具有单一气质的男性逐渐在社会生活中迷失自我,而双性同体则可全面发挥自身潜能,拥有完美人生。
A Thousand Acres is a novel written by American writer Jane Smiley.According to Androgyny,the four male characters are in different temperament,there are men of single sexual polarity as well as androgyny.Different temperament leads to their different fate.Those of single sexual polarity gradually lose their identities in society,and men who belong to the androgynous type are easy to release their potentials,thus they can create perfect life.
