Exploration on Application of Experiential Teaching in ESP Courses Provided by Independent College

独立学院专门用途英语(ESP)课程教学在教材、教师、教法等方面存在一定的问题。采用亲验式教学,能调动学生学习积极性,提高学生职业能力。同时,也有利于ESP课程建设及教师的专业发展。

ESP teaching is prospering in independent college recently;however,there are some problems with the textbook,teaching faculty and teaching methods in ESP teaching.The paper argues that the enthusiasm of the students could be mobilized,and their professional competence and qualifications could be enhanced as well by adopting experiential teaching in ESP courses.Meanwhile,it is helpful for ESP courses construction and the teacher＇s professional development.
