寻找建造的原点:云南省仙源村无止桥工程实践报告

LOOKING FOR THE ORIGIN OF CONSTRUCTION:REPORT ON THE PRACTICE OF WUZHI BRIDGE IN XIANYUAN VILLAGE,YUNNAN PROVINCE

2010年8月,清华、港大百年校庆无止桥在云南省永胜县仙源村竣工。该项目由清华大学、香港大学两所学校的学生设计、组织、施工完成。现场设计,人力手工操作,是建筑最古老也是最本质的部分,这个通过学生的体力和智慧完成的工程,正是寻找建造原点的一次有益的尝试。

The project of Wuzhi Bridge in Xianyuan Village, Yongsheng County, Yunnan Province, for the 100 years anniversary of Tsinghua University and Hong Kong University was completed in Aug. 2010. The project was designed, organized and constructed by the students from Tsinghua University and Hong Kong University. The in-situ design and manual operation is the ancient method but essence for architecture. The project completed with physical effort and talents of students make an attempt to find the origin of architecture.
