Propagation of six Chirita species via leaf cuttings

【目的】探讨6种唇柱苣苔属植物叶插形成不定根和不定芽的特性,为同类植物的繁殖提供科学依据。【方法】采用沙床扦插,单因素试验设计,随机区组排列,对6种唇柱苣苔属植物进行叶插试验,调查不同种的不定根和不定芽性状。【结果】6种唇柱苣苔属植物叶插生根属愈伤组织生根型,不定根发生为15～36d,不定芽发生为56～85d;生根率在90.00%以上的种有百寿唇柱苣苔、融水唇柱苣苔、粗齿唇柱苣苔和荔波唇柱苣苔,寿城唇柱苣苔的生根率较低,为69.33%,心叶唇柱苣苔的生根率最低,仅为40.00%;6种唇柱苣苔属植物的最大根长为3.09～5.25cm、宽为27.17～30.73cm,最大叶长为7.52～12.97cm、宽为6.59～12.69cm,不定芽数为1.0～2.4个,叶片数为2～4片。【结论】6种唇柱苣苔属植物的不定根和不定芽发育时间差异较大,但生长良好,大多数种的生根率高,均适宜叶插繁殖。

[Objective]The present experiment was conducted to study the characteristics of adventitious roots and buds of six Chirita species propagated via leaf cuttings in order to provide reference for propagation of similar plants.[Method]A single factor randomized block design sand-pot experiment was conducted using leaf cuttings,and characteristics of adventitious roots and buds of different cultivars were investigated.[Result]The roots developed in leaf cuttings from six species appeared like callus roots.The duration of adventitious roots and buds formation was recorded as 15-36 and 56-85 d,respectively.Four species,viz.,Chirita baishouensis,Chirita rongshuiensis,Chirita macrodonta and Chirita liboensis recorded over 90% rooting rate.The rooting rate of Chirita shouchengensis was as low as 69.33%,and that of Chirita cordifolia was 40.00%,which was the lowest amongst all.Among the six species,maximum root length and width were 3.09-5.25 and 27.17-30.73 cm,respectively.The maximum leaf length and width were 7.52-12.97 and 6.59-12.69 cm,respectively.The number of adventitious buds and average leaf were 1.0-2.4 and 2-4,respectively.[Conclusion]Significant differences in duration of adventitious root and bud development were observed among six species,however,the majority of them grew pretty well with high rooting rate.It is concluded that almost of species were suitable for propagation via leaf cutting.
