摘要
出口商品面对的是具有全新异域文化背景的消费者,因此,只有在了解、尊重异域文化的基础上,才能对出口产品商标词作出准确恰当的翻译,才能达到扩大商品出口的目的。
With the rising of China's economic status and the expanding of its exports and in hopes of winning more foreign markets and consumers, the translation of export trademarks plays an important role in exportation. As export trademarks face consumers from new exotic cultural backgrounds, only on the basis of the understanding, respect, integration of foreign culture, can the translation of export trademarks accord with foreign cultures, and can we attain the purpose of the translation of export trademarks. This paper discusses the cultural implication and translation principles of export trademarks and hopes it is of some help for the translation of export trademarks.
