介绍了城市蔓延问题的由来及产生的问题,对精明增长的概念及内涵进行梳理,回顾了国内学者对精明增长的研究,最后得出精明增长对我国城市可持续发展的启示:城市空间紧凑发展、完善城市基础设施和配套设施、保护城市肌理和特色风貌、加强对城市化进程的管理.

This paper introduces the origin of urban sprawl and the cause of the problem, summarizes the concept and connotation of smart growth and reviews the domestic scholars＇ researches on smart growth, finally draws to the conclusion that smart growth has great enlightenment to the sustainable development of China＇ s urban as follows： urban space compact development, perfect the urban infrastructure and facilities, protect city＇ s texture and characteristic style, strengthen the management of the urbanization process.
