板图教学方法同地理语言教学艺术相配合,形成边讲边画教学进程,体现地理教学特点,符合认知、识记、记忆、注意等心理活动规律,能把复杂的地理事物简略化,起到化繁为简、化繁为精,增强学生记忆、激发学生学习兴趣及有效培养学生能力的作用,还能把抽象的地理事物具体化、形象化,突出重点,解决难点,从而提高中学地理课堂教学效果。
