The educational needs of preschool children necessitate the educational dimension of childrens literature for preschoolers. This literature functions as teachings of language, conceptions and behavior for children. In the writing, reading, valuation and selection of literature for preschoolers, it is important to deal with the relationship between its function as education and that as literature.
