中文学术论文英译摘要常见错误分析

An Analysis on Error/Mistake in the English Translated Abstract from Chinese in Journal

采用语料库语言学的研究方法,从词法、句法、篇章三个层面,分析了某高校学报发表的177篇学术论文中文摘要的英文译文。结果表明:177篇英译摘要中共有各种错误1133处。其中,词汇层面的错误837处,句法层面的错误54处,篇章层面的错误45处,其它错误192处,有5篇文章摘要使用计算机软件翻译。这些问题说明,目前中文学术论文英译摘要质量欠佳,在一定程度上影响着学术期刊国际化水平的提高。

One hundred and seventy - seven English translated abstracts from Chinese in journals have been analyzed at the lexical, syntactic, and discourse level through the methodology of corpus linguistics. The resuits reveal that there are 1133 errors in the abstracts ,among which 837 are lexical errors,54 syntactic ones, 45 textual ones, 192 other errors and 5 of the abstracts were translated by computer soft wares,which,thus , further reveals that the English translated abstracts are of low quality and greatly impede the academic exchange and transmission and affect the internationalization level of the journals to great extent.
