全球移动运营商已经站到了业务发展的转折点上,开始了对于业务转型的实质性探索。2012年2月27日至3月1日,世界移动通信大会（Mobile World Congress 2012）如期在西班牙巴塞罗那召开。
On February 27th to March 1st,Mobile World Congress was held in Barcelona,Spain.The theme of this conference is 'Redefining Mobile'.Compared with the theme of 2011'Leading the Transformation',the author could feel this year's concerns:how to combine the development of technologies with rich applications and social life,so as to form 'Connected World';and how to improve users experience with new mobile devices and rich mobile internet applications based on network evolution towards LTE,so as to form new economic models,namely 'ConnectedEconomy'.Currently,traditional revenue sources of telecom operators are facing the encroachment by OTT services.Operators are exploring the way out for service transformation and upgrade by redefining the mobile communication,just as phoenix nirvana.At such a turning point,there are both opportunities and challenges in front of telecom operators.The telecom sector is on the way of establishing new business models through innovations.
