“小姑始扶床”辨释

Interpretation to Xiaogu shi fuchuang

现行版《古诗为焦仲卿妻作》中有"小姑始扶床"一句。"扶床"的释义众说纷纭,出现许多牵强之解,将"小姑"的年龄解为十岁左右。从典籍用例来看,"扶床"一词已见于南朝佛经,是文化交流引起"床"的形制改变后出现的。"扶床"有三个义项:本义为扶着床,引申专指儿童扶床站立或学步,进而泛指儿童年幼,经历了一个词义演变的过程。从《古诗为焦仲卿妻作》的版本及成书情况来看,原本可能无此句,"小姑始扶床"当源自顾况《弃妇词》。不能将"扶床"的"小姑"理解为十岁左右,"扶床"实指其年幼。
