The King of Chu, one of the important images of the series Yuefu song poems Mountain of Wushan towering up against the sky, originally coming from Song Yu' s famous Fu articles Rhapsodies of Gaotang Peak and Rhapsody on the Goddess, has different kinds of appellations. The study on the allusions used in ancient cultures shows that many of the stories which actually happened to the other two kings were shifted to this special King of Xiangwang. This occurs because of the confusion of text and the needs of literary creation.
