摘要
隐喻不仅是一种语言手段,而且还是一种思维方式,它的研究已从传统的修辞学进入了认知科学。本文在介绍隐喻的实质:替代论、比较论和互动论的基础上,从认知的角度以大量的例子详细阐述了概念隐喻认知语言学研究对多义词和习语的影响,让英语学习者和教学者都能够在词汇习得中获益。
Metaphor is not only a means of language,but also a means of thinking.The research on metaphor has come into cognitive linguistic from traditional rhetoric.The essences of metaphor:substation theory,comparison theory and interaction theory are firstly introduced,and effects of metaphor on polysemy and idioms are elaborated in detail with lots of examples,which aims to benefit the English learners and teachers.
