近年来人们越来越注意转述引语的研究,而新闻语篇为了增强报道的真实感常常会转述发话人的内容并交代消息来源。但新闻媒体往往代表的是某些利益集团,因此看似客观公正的报道其实蕴藏着特定的社会意识形态,会对公众产生潜移默化的影响,而批评语言学的任务之一便是要揭露这些暗含的意识形态。本文将从批评语言学的角度对《中国日报》和《纽约时报》转述引语的消息来源进行对比分析,考察报道者是如何运用消息来源来传播自己的观点。

Recent years the study of reported speech has been attracting more and more attention.News texts are inclined to cite others＇ words and reveal the news sources to increase the degree of truth.However,news media usually stands for the interest of certain groups,so the seemingly true reports actually imply special ideology and influence on people＇s ideas in an invisible way,while one of the critical linguistics＇ tasks is to expose it.This paper will make a comparative study of the news sources in ＂China Daily＂ and ＂The New York Times＂ from a critical perspective to explore how reporters spread their ideology by applying news sources.
