关于古代小说教化问题的研究综述

Research Review of the Educational Role of Ancient Novels

中国古代小说中存在大量的劝惩教化内容,目前已有近百篇论文对此进行了探究。关于出现这一现象的原因,有人认为是为了提高小说的地位,有人认为是受到儒家思想的影响。而对其价值,多数人认为其优劣参半。关于教化传达的方式,不少学者提出这主要是通过小说中的诗词、谚语、议论、人物形象塑造以及序跋来实现。目前,通过对具体小说文本解析探讨小说教化问题的研究取得了较大成果,但仍然存在尚未探究的领域。

Chinese ancient novels had a lot of contents of reprimand and punishment.Nearly 100 papers did a research on this phenomenon.The researchers have two views about the reasons of it：one is to improve the status of the novel and another is to be influenced by Confucianism.For its value,most of researchers consider that it has merits and demerits at the same time.As for the ways to play the educational role,many scholars consider that poems,proverbs,character images,comments,prefaces and postscripts in the novel are the main ways to convey cultivation.The research about the educational role of Chinese ancient novels through the analysis of a specific novel has achieved great development at present,but there are still some unexplored areas.
