教学服务型大学:背景、内涵及战略举措——以浙江树人大学为例

Teaching and Service Oriented University:Background,Content and Strategic Initiatives:Taking Zhejiang Shuren University as an Example

在现有的研究型大学、教学研究型大学和教学型本科院校分类之外,还应该建设教学服务型大学。民办本科院校的发展与社会需求、市场需求有着内在关联,学校招生、学科专业设置、科学技术成果应用以及内部管理体制机制等都要求面向市场,面向社会服务。民办本科院校的发展必须走"需求导向"的道路,将服务社会能力、服务学生水平摆在突出的位置,在服务的过程中形成自己的特色,提高办学水平和教育质量。该文围绕确立教学服务型大学这一办学定位的背景、教学服务型大学的内涵以及推进教学服务型大学建设的战略举措等三方面进行阐述。

Apart from the existing research oriented, teaching and research oriented, and teaching-oriented universities, there is also a need for building teaching and service oriented universities. The development of non-governmental institution of higher learning, social needs, and market demands are inherently related. Services such as student enrollment, academic course set- tings, application of scientific and technological achievements, and internal management systems and mechanisms arc all required to become market and community oriented. The development of non-governmental institution of higher learning must take the ＂de- mand-oriented＂ way, and put the ability to serve the community and students in a prominent position and thus to form its own characteristics in the process of service to improve the educational standard and quality. This paper describes the background, content, and strategic initiatives in the establishment of teaching and service oriented universities.
