Causes and Inspiration of Developing Countries'Falling into "Middle Income Trap"

发展中国家避免落入"中等收入陷阱"、顺利进入高收入社会,需要从确立基本经济制度、选择发展战略、调节收入分配、调整宏观政策、完善体制机制等五个方面入手。我国陷入"中等收入陷阱"的最大风险来自于贫富分化带来的社会矛盾,避免落入陷阱的根本出路在于深化改革、实现科学发展,长期着力点是加大教育投入、提高人力资本水平和参与发展的能力。

In order to avoid falling into 'middle income trap' and successfully step into high income society,developing countries need to prepare in five aspects like deciding basic economic system,selecting developing strategies,regulating income distribution,adjusting macro policies,and perfecting systems.However,the highest risk for China to fall into 'middle income trap' comes from the social contradictions brought by rich-poor dividen.Therefore,the essential way to avoid the risk is to realize scientific development by deepening the reform,and the long-term priority is to invest more in education,enhance human capital as well as abilities of participating in development.
