The article expounds on the possible risks facing methanol gasoline promotion process.It considers that,although having the competitive superiority of lower cost,methanol gasoline has equipment risk,operational risk,environmental protection risk and economic risk that cannot be ignored compared with regular gasoline,needing to develop coal-base fuel variety suitable for national conditions under scientific development concept.It also points out that,according to the principle of from low to high and from easy to difficult,steady promotion should be carried out in the two aspects of methanol gasoline’s industry chain and supply chain,so as to reduce the risks of methanol gasoline promotion.
