The authors of this thesis conduct the analysis over the four respective English versions by Legge,Waley,Xu Yuanchong and Wang Rongpei Ren Xiuhua from the perspective of deconstruction. The four different versions present varied stylistic features and touches of flavor, showing that, first of all,the translator is the performer of the translation behavior with individual ideas and emotions which are inevitably influenced by the translator's personal identity, the time and the society s/he is in,contemporary politics and other factors. It would be impossible for any translator to restore Shijing in the translated version with the original being the absolute standard;for each translator would unexceptionally approach to the Shijing translation with his/her own understanding and interpretation, providing continuous "différance" in the form of new life of the original Shijing in the target language versions.
