This paper introduces the basic principles and algorithm of single carrier frequency domain equalization and the design method of the unique word,and compares the performance of the simulation when select different types and lengths of unique words.Then we obtain the relationship between the frequency domain equalization performance and the unique word.It helps to design a compromise SC-FDE system between the performance and complexity.
