陕西山阳寒武系研究的新进展

NEW ADVANCES IN THE STUDY OF THE CAMBRIAN IN SHANYANG,SHANXI PROVINCE

该地区寒武系剖面露头良好,相标志清楚,化石较丰富,是秦岭寒武系研究的重点地区之一。近两年来新发现了下寒武统顶部的带化石Redlichia chinensis,中寒武统底部的标准化石Kunmingaspis sp., Chittidilla sp.和遗迹化石Chondites、Planolites,为区域地层划分,岩相古地理分析和省内外对比提供了重要的依据。

The Cambrian in Shanyang, Shanxi Province, is well exposed, with a distinct facies indication and abundant body fossils and trace fossils, so the area is one of the key areas for the study of the Cambrian in the Qinling Mountains. In the past two yearsothe Chinese geologists have found the zonal fossil Redliehia chinensis at the top of the Lower Cambrian and the index fossils Kunmingaspis sp. and Chittidilla sp. and the trace fossils Chondites and Planolites at the base of the Middle Cambrian. thus providing important grounds for the regional stratigraphic division, analysis of lithofacies-paleogeography and correlation between the province and other parts of China.
