远程开放教育是面向在职成人的一种现代化的新型的教育形式。随着网络的普及、社会经济的发展,在职成人教育所遵循的以往那种以自学和面授为主的传统的教育方式,已难以适应人们的需求和时代的发展。必然会被以多媒体和交互式远程教学平台自主学习相结合的学习方式所代替。现代远程网络教育日渐成为成人教育发展的一种重要教育模式。

Open and distance education is a modern and new form which faces on-the-job personnel.With the popularity of network and the social and economic development,the traditional education mode of giving priority to self-learning and face-to-face teaching which on-the-job personnel followed has not adapt to people＇s needs and development of the times,and it is replaced by learning mode of combing with multimedia and interactive distance learning platform independent study inevitably.Modern remote network education is becoming an important mode of development of adult education.
