Experimental study on using composite cartilage-perichondrial autograft for tympanoplasty in rabbits

目的 探讨自体软骨－ 软骨膜复合移植修复鼓膜的组织学转归及其在中耳乳突手术的应用前景。方法 将１６ 只家兔双耳正常鼓膜切除后，用其自体耳廓软骨－ 软骨膜修复。并对术后不同时期移植物行组织学、扫描电镜、透射电镜观察。结果 术后１ 个月移植物已开始修，术后３ 个月移植物细胞形态、组织结构基本恢复正常，术后５ 个月修复完成，移植物鼓室面及外耳道面分别被覆光滑的单层立方上皮及复层鳞状上皮。结论 自体软骨－ 软骨膜是一种有前途的中耳乳突手术修复材料，值得进一步研究。

Objective To study the histological fate and clinical prospect of composite cartilage-perichondrial autograft (CCPA) in tympanoplasty.Methods Experimental tympanoplasty by using CCPA was carried out in 16 rabbits. Results Grafts were found adherent to the recipient site 1 month after operation.Histological staining with H-E revealed some abnormal chondrocytes within the lacunae, but there were cellular division and epithelization on both surfaces of the grafts. Morphology of chondrocytes and simple epithelium was nearly normal 3 months after operation. By the 5th month, chondrocytes were normal and graft edges healed completely without scar tissue formation. The medial surface was covered with simple cuboidal epithelium and the outer surface covered with squamous epithelium.Conclusion CCPA has a good prospect in tympanoplasty
