随着“２０００年人人享有卫生保健”目标的临近，以及实行从医疗、预防、保健、康复为目标，个人、群体、社 会为对象，提高人类健康素质为宗旨的大卫生的教学计划的拟定，结合我省当前社区、基层农村妇幼卫生人才的现状，为 填补我省妇幼卫生高层次人才培养的空白，作者就什么是合格的妇幼卫生专科人才，合格妇幼卫生专科人才培养的方向 及培养的措施进行了阐述。
