Transpulmonary chemoembolization for the treatment of unresectable lung tumors

经导管动脉化疗栓塞术已经被认为是手术不能切除肝癌的一线治疗方法。然而,此技术也被认为是不能手术切除转移性肺癌新的治疗方法。本文对该技术的历史、转移性肺癌的血供、适应证、禁忌证、操作步骤、并发症、疗效和局限性等进行综述。

Transarterial chemoembolization （TACE） has been recommended as a first-line therapy for patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinomas. Similarly, this type of treatment for lung tumors, transpulmonary cbemoembolization （TPCE）, has also been regarded as a novel approach for unresectable pulmonary metastases. This article aims to make a comprehensive review about the history of TPCE, the blood supply of the metastatic pulmonary tumors, the indications and contraindieations of this technique, the operative procedures, the complications and limitations, etc.（J Intervent Radiol, 2012, 21： 344-347）
