略论南社的国粹主义和民族主义渊源

On the Origin of Nanshe's Advocating Traditional Chinese Culture and Nationalism

作为中国近现代文学转型时期规模最大的文学社团,南社脱胎于"旧"又企望着"新",与国粹主义和民族主义有着无法割裂的渊源。新旧杂糅的特点使南社始终无法摆脱论争、分歧与内讧,其所导致的自身局限与内因使南社文人以渴慕"新"而登场,以被定义为"旧"而收尾。当新文化运动产生了新的阵地和新的英雄时,南社文人便被迫从"自己的时代"退场。

As the largest literary society during the transition period of Chinese modern literature, Nanshe （南社） was derived from the ＂ Old＂ and hoped for the ＂ New＂, it related closely to traditional Chinese culture and nationalism. Nanshe was full of controversy, difference and faction owing to the mixture of old and new thoughts within itself. When the New Culture Movement created a new front and new influential men, the literati of Nanshe were compelled to leave the stage from their ＂ own time＂.
