从士人的处贫心态看中唐至北宋士风之嬗变

Observe the Change of Literati's Mood through the Attitude of Poverty

因为"制禄太薄",北宋士人经济状况远不如唐,入仕后他们依然生活拮据,不少官员甚至连基本的生活都难以维系。但北宋士人却很少象中唐寒士那样在文章中啼饥号寒,更无凄婉可怜之态。他们批判韩孟文章的世俗气,认为文章"须无穷愁态乃善"。"立德不朽"成为他们的人生目标,预示着中唐至北宋士人人格发生着由英雄向圣贤的嬗变。

The income is relatively low in Northern Song Dynasty, literati^s economic condition is far worse than which in Tang Dynasty. Even after serving as an official, they still live in straitened circum- stances. However, the Northern Song Dynasty literati barely complain about poverty like literati in Mid- Tang Dynasty. They criticize the vulgarness in HanYu and MenJiao^s article. The goal of their life is be- ing virtuous; it indicates that personalities of literati have changed from heroic personality in Mid-Tang Dynasty to saint personality in Northern Song Dynasty.
