＂Films bring a festive mood to the pastures. It is our responsibility to show films to herdsmen and rural residents. Because they love films, we enjoy our job,＂ says Chang Shoulan, head of the Tacheng women＇s film-showing team. Chang and her team have traveled more than 170,000 kilometers -- to all counties and villages around Tacheng, a border city in Northwest China＇s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region - while showing movies during the past eight years.
活跃在草原牧区的塔城女子放映队是中国第一支全部由少数民族女子组成的流动放映队。8年来，她们的足迹遍布塔城地区的所有县市、团场、村队，行程17万公里，去年放映电影接近1万场次。“对我们来说，放电影已经成了一种责任。电影带给农牧民节日般的快乐。因为他们热爱电影，所以我们热爱放电影。”队长常寿兰说。
