There are 34 cases of chronic cough in Case Records as a Guide to Clinical Practice.These cases show the academic thought and the characteristics of using drugs in Treating Chronic cough of YE Tian-shi.YE Tian-shi treated chronic cough in guidance of holistic conception and embodied the pathogenesis such as disease of Five-Zang and Six-Fu can cause cough,not only disease of lung.According to the principle of treatment disease from the root,YE Tian-shi paid attention to the properties and tastes of herbs and he was good at using the classic formula.
