摘要
MPLS(Multiprotocol Label Switching:多协议标记交换)技术正在快速发展,其目的是提高Internet的速度和可扩展性,并可提供更好的服务能力。文中回顾了MPLS的发展过程,介绍了MPLs的总体框架及其目前发展情况,最后论述了MPLS目前急需解决的关键技术。
Multiprotocol label Switching (MPLS) is ra -pidly emerging as an Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) standard intended to enhance the speed , scalability, and service provisioning capabilities in the Internet. This article briefly tracks the evolution of this technology, Then an overview of the MPLS architecture and design is provided. In addition, some key technologies are discussed.
