摘要
以阳离子聚丙烯酰胺为助留剂,考察了粉煤灰用作造纸填料的可行性。针对粉煤灰白度较低的特点,实验中利用筛分、浮选的方法提高其白度。实验结果表明,使用粉煤灰或粉煤灰与碳酸钙的混合物(质量比1∶1)作为填料,纸张不透明度显著提高,但随填料用量的增加,纸张白度有所下降。在一定范围内加填粉煤灰的纸张的抗张指数与耐破指数优于加填碳酸钙的纸张。
The possibility using fly ash as papermaking filler was investigated by using cationic polyacrylamide ( CPAM ) as a retention aid. Considering low brightness of fly ash, various means including screening, floatation and mixing with calcium carbonate were tested to improve its brightness. The experimental results showed that the combination of the above three methods can markedly improve the brightness of the filler and handsheet. Using fly ash or the mixture of 50% fly ash and 50% calcium carbonate as filler can obviously increase handsheet opac- ity. However, handsheet brightness will decrease with increasing filler dosage. The strength properties of fly ash-filled handsheet are better than those of calcium carbonate-filled handsheet in a certain degree.
