明代沿海防御体系研究

A Research on Coastal Defense System in Ming Dynasty

明代沿海防御体系蕴涵着丰富的历史学、建筑学、考古学等学科的历史文化信息,对其发生机制、演变脉络以及文化内涵等方面的发掘与研究,可为文化遗产的继承与保护提供理论依据。笔者通过对明代沿海防御卫所建置的起因、沿革、空间分布及其变迁的研究,证明了明代海防体系是我国第一次建成的、以对外防御为首要功能的沿海防御体系,这一体系具有严密的整体性、系统性和层次性;同时,通过对明初海运作用和重要性的分析,及对元、明海运航线比较,证明了明代沿海防体系具有保卫海运航线与贡道安全的重要作用。

Coastal defense system in Ming Dynasty conveys rich historical,architectural and archaeological information.Researches on its originality,development and cultural connotation can provide theoretical basis for the succession and protection of cultural heritage.The study of its cause,evolution,spatial distribution and change have verified that the coastal defense system in Ming Dynasty was the first and the oldest one in China,with the purpose of external defense as the primary function,which was featured by tight integrity,systemality and structuring.The analysis of function and importance of maritime transport in Ming Dynasty,and the comparative analysis of shipping routes in Yuan and Ming Dynasty have proved that the coastal defense system in Ming Dynasty played a very important role in ensuring the safety of shipping routes and tribute roads.
