摘要
本文以华北科技学院英语专业学生为调查对象,对他们的语用能力状况进行了调查,并统计分析了调查对象的语用能力与其英语语用能力的关系。调查发现:总体上,调查对象的语用能力不高,但三、四年级学生好于一、二年级学生,四年级学生的语用能力与一、二年级学生的语用能力存在显著性差异;调查对象的语用能力与其英语语言能力不相关,也就是说,语言能力高的学生,其语用能力不一定高,这与许多研究者的发现一致。
With some English majors in North China Institute of Science and Technology as the research subjects, this paper investigates the subjects' pragmatic competence, and analyzes the relationship between their pragmatic competence and their lingnistic proficiency. It is found that, in general, the subjects' pragmatic competence is not high, but the subjects' pragmatic competence in Grade 3 & 4 is better than that in Grade 1 & 2, and the subjects' pragmatic competence in Grade 4 is significantly different from that in Grade 1 & 2, and that the subjects' pragmatic competence and their linguistic proficiency are not correlated, that is, the subjects with good lingnistie proficiency are not surely good in pragmatic competence, which is consistent with the findings of many researchers.
