翻译理论与技巧在大学公共英语教材中的应用

大学本科毕业生在走上工作岗位后,大部分人把英语应用于翻译工作中,包括笔译和口译.但翻译工作本身不是一件容易的事,必需掌握英语翻译的基本理论与技巧.面对非英语专业的学生只有四学期英语课程而且又没有专门的翻译课的状况,大学公共英语课教师应合理利用教材来积极向学生渗透翻译理论与技巧并指导学生实践.本文以新视野大学英语教材为例,介绍了翻译理论与技巧在公共英语教材中的应用.

When most university graduates go translation and interpretation. But translation to work, they treat English as a tool to translation, including written is not an easy job, you should master the basic translating theory and skill. As students of ESL only study English for four semesters, and they have not special class to learn translation. Facing with this situation, college English teachers should make better use of textbook to penetrate to the students translate theory and skill and guide students in praetiee. In this paper, the author take New Horizon College English textbooks as examples, introduced how to apply translating theory and skill to students＇ textbooks of ESL.
