摘要
为了了解高中生的课内外英语阅读现状,笔者通过调查问卷对上海市某区重点中学的208名高中生进行了调查。结果发现,有不良阅读习惯的学生较多,学生的课外阅读情况差强人意;学生较缺乏阅读深层理解力;年级间、性别间阅读情况差异较显著;学生非常渴望得到教师的帮助,提高其阅读能力。笔者建议,要想全面提高学生的英语阅读能力和水平,就要增强学生的阅读动机,激发他们的阅读兴趣;进行分层推进,加强阅读策略指导;加强专项限时阅读训练;借助图式,着重培养阅读深层理解力;精选阅读封料,加强课外阅读的指导。
In order to know about the current situation of reading comprehension of senior high school students, the author conducted a survey on 205 students in a senior high school in Shanghai by means of questionnaire. The results are as follows: quite a few students have poor reading habits; students seldom read after class; they lack the deep understanding abilities; there are remarkable differences between different grades and sexes; students are in great need of teachers' help. Based on the analysis, the authors come to the conclusion that in order to improve students' comprehensive abilities, English teachers are advised to do the following: increase students' motive and arouse interest in reading; take the specific individual's needs into consideration and instruct reading strategies at different levels; cultivate students' deep understanding abilities through schema theory; select reading materials carefully and provide guidance for extensive reading after class.
