冥婚是现实生活中被作为异文化或特殊文化时常被提到的一种现象,在中国南北大地上曾经长期存在并影响人们的生活和信仰。但作为一种民间文化,虽然也在上层社会实行,却被不同时期的统治者所非议或禁止。研究从冥婚的概念入手,讨论了冥婚存在的根源和与信仰的紧密联系,试图解开冥婚作为一种被民间综合化、多样化以及信仰化的文化之结,并将之视为一种生死不息、生死同质的信仰。

Wedding in the afterworld,a phenomenon often mentioned as an alien culture or special culture,has existed in China and influenced people＇s lives and beliefs.Although also practiced by the upper class,wedding in the afterworld,as a folk cultural heritage,has been denounced and prohibited by rulers in different historical periods.This paper,starting with the definition,discusses the fundamental reasons of such wedding and its close relationship with beliefs,tries to untangle the knot of such wedding custom and regards it as a faith of equation of life and life.
