论《大唐三藏取经变文》存在的可能性

On the Possibility of the Existence of Bianwen(Transformation Text) of Tang Sanzang's Pilgrimage for Buddhist Scriptures

《西游记》的定型经历了长期的积累演化过程。唐五代时,变文文体流行,而西游故事也在民间广为流传,但从现有考古发掘的情况看,并没有一部以西游故事为题材的变文流传下来。然而当时多种形式的西游故事流行,变文的初衷本在于敷演佛法,变文的文体、内涵与西游故事有颇多交集之处,而后来的西游故事的表达形式乃至佛教知识的错误和《取经诗话》中的声误现象,也从一个侧面说明了《大唐三藏取经变文》存在的可能性。

The stereotype of The Journey to the West has experienced a long process of accumulation and evolution.Bianwen became popular in the Tang and the Five-Dynasties Periods and stories from the Journey to the West also spread widely among people at that time.However,according to the archaeological findings,no bianwen style of the Journey to the West was passed down.This paper tries to prove the possibility of the existence of Bianwen of Tang Sanzang＇s Pilgrimage for Buddhist Scriptures through the research on the following five aspects： the popularity of the stories from the Journey to the West,Buddhist ceremony activities,bianwen system,folklores and Verses of Tang Sanzang＇s Pilgrimage for Buddhist Scriptures.
